Electrical Building Services

ATS personnel have extensive experience in the provision of electrical building services both for new installations and for refurbishments and upgrades. Services offered include the following:

• General and architectural lighting, encompassing both interior and exterior lighting.
• MV and LV reticulation within buildings, including both cable and bus bar trunking systems.
• Standby and UPS power supplies.
• Electronic security and access control systems.

We offer our services to the following sectors: Multi-storey commercial and office buildings, Shopping malls, Hospitals and other healthcare facilities, Schools and similar institutions, Industrial facilities and Residential complexes.

Electrical Industrial Services

• Industrial lighting installations
• MV reticulation up to 33kV, including cable jointing and termination
• LV & MV reticulation and distribution.
• Motor control centre installation
• Power factor correction equipment installation

We offer our services to the following industries: Food and beverage industry, Manufacturing, Mining, Utilities, including energy, water treatment and waste- water treatment, Transportation, Material handling and the city council.

Substation construction

Antek Technical Services has a unit that specializes in the construction of new substations. This includes all civil and ancillary works, transformer and switchgear installation, and full testing and commissioning. The service encompasses: Mini-substations up to 11 kV, Substation maintenance, Transformer & switch gear maintenance.

Line Construction

This entails the construction and distribution of other medium-voltage and low-voltage overhead lines. The services we offer encompass the following:

• Computer-aided line design – load requirements, conductor sag and tension, construction staging
• Design of structures and foundations
• Line upgrades, reconditioning, and other modifications

Line construction services are offered for the following clients: Regional and national energy utilities, Municipalities and electricity distribution companies as well as Mining and heavy industrial clients.

Township electrification

ATS offers a complete package of services including:

• MV and LV reticulation, both overhead and underground
• Construction of mini-substations
• House connections
• Street lighting, including high-mast lighting

The Clients we cater for include the following: Metropolitan municipalities, District municipalities, Town councils, rural councils and growth points.

Maintenance

ATS provides maintenance of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, motors and generators, as well as the testing and commissioning of electrical transformers, switchgear, and protective relays.

We offer our maintenance and commissioning and provide support services mainly to the following sectors: Electrical energy utilities, Railways, Mining as well as Water & Waste-Water Treatment.

Radio Frequency (RF) Distribution

This involves running and installation of broadcasting cabling for the Satellite and digital terrestrial signals. We do AV installations provide support, skills training and consult on various levels for house of worship auditoriums, events and conference centers.
